Benchmarking the current market for portable bidets
First round of Prototyping
Parallel to sketching, I did some quick fail-fast prototyping. I tested out mechanisms and proof of concepts to explore my ideas.
The Concept
Creating a compact and portable bidet that provides adequte water pressure through every use.
The bidet can be stashed away when not in use, and has a flexible spout to accomodate for all body types.

The prototyping of this project had me going back and forth from sketching to prototyping to Solidworks in order to get the closing mechanism and proportions correct.

Packaging and Sustainability Model
This product was designed to be available at your nearest pharmacy, so I explored better ways to close the product life cycle in order to avoid adding to tons of existing waste.
I based the model off of conscious packaging that helped users to reuse the product packaging to send parts back to the manufacturers to break down.
Models
I used 3D printing for the higher fidelity appearance models and made a medium fidelity model to demonstrate my working model out of simpler materials.
